Today, Xavier got some great news on the recruiting front. Brandon Randolph chose Xavier over Missouri for his college destination. Randolph is a 6'2'' guard from Inglewood, California. He is listed as a three star guard on Rivals and a 4 star on Scout. His strengths are getting to the rim and creating his shots. He is considered a very good scorer, but will need to work on his ability to pass and work the ball better as a point guard
Randolph committed to Xavier after originally committing to Pepperdine this past summer. Shortly after committing to Pepperdine, he opened his recruitment back up. As a west coast high school player, he has been mostly overlooked by Pac 12 schools. His recruitment has picked up since this summer and his break out performances on his AAU team. Xavier joined this recruitment late but seemed to be a great fit from the beginning, with him being rumored to have committed after a recent visit to Norwood. Instead, he decided to let his recruitment play out and he followed through on his visit to Missouri this past weekend but luckily, for Musketeers fans, he decided on Xavier after returning from that visit.
The addition of Randolph helps solidify next years class of incoming recruits. With Jalen Reynolds and Myles Davis being ineligible this year, they will join Randolph and another 2013 commitment Kamall Richards.
