Ron Patterson will likely make his decision today on where he will attend school this fall and play basketball. Most sources seem to think he will choose a 4 year college over the prep school route. He will be eligible to play right away wherever he goes.
It would be a nice addition for Xavier if they picked him up for the up-coming season, yet it should be noted that Patterson is not going to be an impact player right off the bat. He is a 3 star recruit outside the top 100 and compares most favorably to incoming Xavier recruit Myles Davis. This would just add depth and potential down the road for Patterson to develop into a solid contributor late this year or more than likely his sophomore through senior years.
