Ron Patterson has decided to reclassify to the class of 2013 and head off to Brewster Academy this fall. Sources felt this was the direction he was headed on Monday, as his family seemed to be pushing him towards the prep school route. Although it would have been a decent addition to the Muskies this fall, Patterson was not going to be an impact player or possibly may not have even seen much playing time. The Muskies are seemingly loaded at guards with Wells, Myles Davis, Dee Davis, Semaj Christon and Brad Redford, and it could use a late addition at PF or C.
Also, it seems unlikely that Chris Mack will offer Patterson at this point for next season. Mack is on some of the best guards in the class of 2013 and already has signed Chris Thomas.
